Radon Loc concrete sealant is a complete basement waterproofing system that works so well, it comes with a twenty-year manufacturer’s warranty.  Once the concrete is properly treated, Radon Loc is guaranteed to protect against moisture migration. Because it becomes a permanent part of the structure it will never stop working or ever have to be reapplied.

Radon Loc does not just sit on the surface like most concrete sealers. It is a penetrating sealer that is absorbed deep into the concrete (one to four inches) to create an impenetrable barrier against moisture and moisture related problems, such as efflorescence, mold & mildew. It will also stop concrete dusting, erosion and prevents deicing salt damage.

Here’s how it works
Radon Loc has special wetting agents that allow it to penetrate deep into the concrete. Upon entering the concrete, it immediately comes in contact with the alkali and starts to form a gel. The gel moves in all directions to fill the pores and hairline cracks. Within 90 days the gel, which now fills the pores, solidifies as hard as concrete itself forming a complete waterproof barrier. Since all of this action is inside the concrete, and not on the surface, it does not affect its’ usage. Radon Loc treated concrete can be walked on immediately and driven on within a few hours.

Radon Loc densifies concrete to the point of zero penetration; oil, gasoline and salt will not penetrate the surface. It even prevents cancer-causing radon form being transmitted through the concrete. Other recommended uses
Sealing new or existing concrete surfaces such as garages, driveways, basements, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, warehouse floors, loading docks, bridges, and many more. It can also be used on masonry, cement block walls, and stucco.

Increased Compression Strength: When the gelling action is complete, the density (strength) of the concrete is increased by as much as 42%.

Increased Flexural Strength: The flexural strength of the concrete is increased by as much as 36% for greater protection against freeze/thaw damage.

Concrete Cleaning: When the gel forms within the concrete, Radon Loc will emulsify and purge contaminants, including most oils, to the surface for easy cleanup. This action will make the concrete cleaner and more receptive to the application of topical coatings (i.e. paint, epoxies, mastics, tile or carpeting).
